Hello,

I hope the last month has been great for you. Here's my latest news.
I did a blog this month about the leadership lessons from the only NCAA coach to win tournament games as a 15, 13, and 12 seed - Dick Tarrant of the University of Richmond. Coach Tarrant ended up seeing the blog and was kind enough to grant me a rare interview. His story is inspirational far beyond basketball. He didn't get his first college head coaching job until he was in his 50s. He retired on top and even had his home court renamed for him. See the blog here.
My blog last month about the challenges consultants face when transitioning to the non-consulting world generated a lot of interest. I followed up by surveying former consultants to get their advice. Over 30 former Bain, McKinsey, BCG alums and others have responded thus far and offered fantastic advice that I will compile in an article next month. If you are a fellow "recovering consultant," please consider adding your advice via my survey. Stay tuned for the full article with all the results next month.
I added a new keynote address offering to my speaking services. (Just in time for the next Administrative Professional's Day on April 25th.) This new keynote is titled EA Excellence: 12 Best Practices of Elite Executive Assistants. It is based on a blog I did last year that has been quite popular. You can see a list of all my keynotes here
I had an opportunity to sit in on the annual National Football League (NFL) Combine this past month. The Combine is the organized testing of top prospects seeking to enter the NFL. Since a good or bad performance in the Combine can make a difference in millions of dollars of pay, it is sometimes called the most important job interview in the world. I wrote a blog about the lessons in job interviewing I took away from the NFL Combine. You can read it here.
I had another animated video created for one of my websites this month. I've found a developer in Argentina who does fantastic work at a great price. A video like this costs about $75 to make. Let me know if you are looking for a recommendation for an animation artist. You can see several examples of his work on my website.
Thanks for your time. I'd love to hear what you are up to. If you have a moment, please reply with an email or look me up on Facebook or LinkedIn. And please let me know if I can be helpful to you in any way.

All the best to you,
Victor
